Have Household Hazardous Waste? Don’t Know Where To Dispose Of It?

hand-1030565_1920It’s never too soon to get a jump start on spring clean-up after the holidays…

If you have items cluttering up the garage, such as unused pesticides, motor oil, alkaline batteries, pool chemicals, and driveway sealants that you may not know how to properly dispose of or where to dispose of them – there is a once-a-year option that can help.

Residents in Saint Louis County, St. Louis City and Jefferson County can participate in the St. Louis Hazardous Waste program. Once a year, residents in St. Louis City and Jefferson County can dispose of items that are harmful to health and the environment at two locations, Lemay and Florrisant facilities. St. Louis County residents have additional drop-off times due to how the program is funded.

Reservations are required, and some items/weight may have a charge attached. Please see below for more information.
