Seed Packet Sale
For gardeners who would like to start seeding the garden in early spring, explore our diverse seed packet collection upstairs at the Carriage House on Saturday, February 3, from 9 AM-Noon. Seed packets are $0.25 each, and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer questions.
The Carriage House is located at 3815 Bell Ave, St. Louis, MO 63108.
Order Summer Seedlings Now
Gardeners who belong to Gateway Greening’s Garden Network have the opportunity to order summer seedlings at a reduced cost. Visit the online store and place your order by midnight on Sunday, February 4!
Garden Expansion Application – Now Open! (Due Monday, February 19, 2018)
Each year Gateway Greening is contacted by community garden members from all over St. Louis, looking for ways to expand their growing space or acquire new tools and materials at an affordable cost. This can be especially challenging for new or independent gardens who are working with limited budgets. Gateway Greening has created the biannual Garden Expansion Awards as a way to meet those needs.
Through the Garden Expansion Application, established In-Network community or youth gardens (who have met the eligibility requirements) may submit an application requesting basic garden supplies at no cost. By taking advantage of this opportunity, community and youth gardens all over St. Louis have received: additional raised beds, soil, compost, garden tools, wheelbarrows, compost bins, and tool sheds – many of the materials vital to growing a garden.
