From The Butterfly House Press Release:
Project Pollinator will promote an appreciation for all pollinators through education and the creation of new pollinator gardens in St. Louis County Parks, at St. Louis County libraries, and in other public venues in St. Louis County. The March 15 event will feature plant giveaways, informational booths about local pollinators and native plants, and horticulturists who will be available to answer questions.
Throughout the month of April, Spring Fling will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Butterfly House will celebrate the important insects that help make gardens grow. Each week, a beneficial pollinator will be highlighted through fun facts, crafts, games and other family-friendly activities. Learn more about bees, ladybugs, bats and of course butterflies during Spring Fling. All activities are included with regular admission. Spring Fling will also feature a Native Plant Sale to get your pollinator garden. Proceeds support Project Pollinator.
The Butterfly House is located in Faust Park at 15193 Olive Blvd. in Chesterfield, Mo., accessible from Interstate 64 at exit #19B. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays (closed Mondays).
