Don Corrigan talks with John Vogel, the wildlife regional supervisor for the Missouri Department of Conservation, in this edition of “Behind the Editors Curtain.” The conversation includes information about the St. Louis area’s many outdoor activities, organizations that help protect our outdoor environment, and the October 24, 2015, event, Explore the Outdoors: St. Louis.
Many opportunities exist to explore the great outdoors right here in the St. Louis area. An upcoming event, Explore the Outdoors: St. Louis is packed with various seminars and information about activities, like outdoor photography, hiking, fly fishing, canoeing, a bird of prey live demonstration, celebrating 25 years of the Katy Trail, a variety of information tables and book signings are only a sampling of what can be found at the event.
Explore the Outdoors: St. Louis will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center. All seminar sessions are free and open to the public. There is also a banquet planned, which requires a ticket to attend. For more information about the event CLICK HERE. Or to view the event schedule CLICK HERE.
