Forest ReLeaf of Missouri is excited to once again to present the Arbormeisters Homebrew + Craft Beer Festival!
Each homebrew includes at least one ingredient sourced from a tree! Enjoy these unique brews while enjoying the natural setting of Forest ReLeaf’s Communitree Gardens Nursery in Creve Coeur Park. All proceeds benefit Forest ReLeaf’s mission of “planting trees, enriching communities.” Attendees will have the opportunity to rate the various brews and vote for their favorites; may the best homebrewer win!
You will enjoy live music by Carter Hulsey and The Wilhems, CommuniTree Gardens nursery tours, raffle prizes, Frankly Sausages food truck with food for sale and additional food and beverages.

Speaking of the Park, here is a message from the Open Space Council…
At a recent St. Louis County Council meeting, a resolution to delay the construction of the proposed ice complex in Creve Coeur Lake Park was passed. We want to thank everyone who made phone calls and attended the County Council meetings to show support for the park.
Together, we have gotten the attention of the media. Significant research has been done and important articles written which share key information with elected officials and the public. One such piece was Tony Messenger’s article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch “Feds seek halt to work in Creve Coeur Park putting new Blues practice home on thin ice”, which details documents from the National Parks Service and Missouri State Parks.
While we recognize that the work to save Creve Coeur Lake Park is not done yet, we are hopeful that this project will be moved to a more appropriate site, i.e. an abandoned shopping mall instead of public parkland that was acquired for the purpose of outdoor recreation and conservation.
If you are interested in getting involved in stopping this project, please consider doing the following:
1) Become a member of the Open Space Council. It is only through the financial support of members that we are able to advocate for the safeguarding of our region’s important parkland. Join today and support our work to conserve and sustain land & water resources throughout the St. Louis Region.
2) Attend an upcoming St. Louis County Park Masterplan meeting and share your voice about what you want in your parks. This is a fantastic opportunity to share what you believe should and should not be in your parkland. Details on these meetings can be found here.
3) Voice your opposition to the location of the ice complex in Creve Coeur Park by contacting your county councilperson today. See what district you live in and get your elected representatives contact information by using the map below.
